This is a representation of me and my young Friesian, Liam on his first ride in the woods, I painted it from 3 different photos and than I painted me riding sidesaddle as I am doing a series right now for the Sidesaddle Association. Also, I choose to use my horse and me in the painting as I was hurt a year and a half ago and am still not able to ride and I miss it so so much. I hope to ride again in a couple years.
I create because I must! I have a driving desire to create my emotions as I delve within myself to find the truth of who I really am. Iv'e lived to many years listening to society and to others as to how I should live and who I should be. I am who I am and I must be this and continue on this journey of self awareness through my artwork, meditation, nature, my animals, and family and friends. At the same time looking for balance.
