My sweet love Bennie, He was an amazing companion, the love of my life. He was with me for 10yrs, he was a 140lb Newfoundland Dog, very special breed of dog, devoted companion a dog that needs lots of attention and there person home with them. This painting I painted after he passed away, this is an image from a photo I took of him in the snow, two months before he died, he was looking right at me with his sweet loving eyes. He was quite ill, but he loved me and he loved the snow. I meant to just paint him in the snow but as I painted this is how it turned out, more like where he is now, in a nice cool happy place not sick or in pain anymore. In my private collection
