"Peace in the Valley" was inspired by an art show that was held at the Gresham Visual arts Gallery this year, the Wild wild west show. I am a member of the Gresham Art Committee and I liked the name of the show and wanted to paint something to match the theme and this is what came to me.
I create because I must! I have a driving desire to create my emotions as I delve within myself to find the truth of who I really am. Iv'e lived to many years listening to society and to others as to how I should live and who I should be. I am who I am and I must be this and continue on this journey of self awareness through my artwork, meditation, nature, my animals, and family and friends. At the same time looking for balance.
